Hi, I'm Rachel — counsellor and yoga teacher (often alongside my Labradoodle, Oakley).
I support people experiencing ongoing stress and overwhelm — particularly those who are functioning well but feeling stretched, reactive, or depleted.
For over 20 years I worked with people experiencing chronic stress and dysregulation — families in crisis, people stretched to their limits, lives shaped by ongoing pressure. I understood their experience deeply, because in many ways I had lived it too.
Navigating my own burnout is what brought me to these tools. Through counselling, mindfulness, breathwork, and yoga, I learned how to retrain my nervous system — to move from reacting to responding. To feel stress without being consumed by it.
That experience is at the core of how I work. I use these tools because I've lived what they can do — not just studied them.
Rather than pushing through stress, we build micro-practices that help regulate your nervous system and give you more choice in how you respond. Sessions are calm, structured, and tailored to real life — supporting steadiness, clarity, and emotional capacity over time.
